I have now read this book several times and it's definitely one of my guilty pleasures. It's not the sort of book I would normally pick but I keep finding myself going back for more.
The characters are engaging, and I found myself quite liking Triton, despite his philandering, and enjoyed his transformation during the book. Sophie was a character I loved, as she desperately fights for independence and to prove she is capable. Despite him not appearing much, however, I do think my favourite is Poseidon.
