Rating is more like a 2.5. The first half was better than I expected. The second half just jumped off the deep end. There was practically no mention until half way through about the paranormal aspects. There were a few funny jokes and a few offensive crass comments. Grace was odd. Mostly she felt kind of juvenile for a soul that's supposed to have lived hundreds of lives. Shane - well I get his the bad playboy but even when he tried to change Grace ignored it so seemed kind of annoying - they had a lot of stupid interactions. I kind of just wanted to bash their heads together and be done with it. Unless I missed something, Shane had the same ice blue eyes she was looking for so I didn't really understand why she never considered it might be him - especially since she basically took Blake at first sight for nothing more than the eyes - I mean he was mauling her in front of everyone - why would she think he'd be the innocent reserved soulmate of hers? Anyway I enjoyed parts of it I guess. Kind of annoyed about the cliffhanger because I want to know what happens but I don't think I can bring myself to buy and read the sequel. We'll see.
Very sexy and intense. Such a pleasant change from the majority of angel novels, without the complex explanations and lengthy paragraphs. Really enjoyed Fall From Grace and look forward to the second in the series.
