Nadz@Totally Addicted to Reading

Featured in this installment are Emery Andrews and Dean Masters whom I was introduced to in the previous installment. It was at this point I recognised the possibility of them becoming a couple, and so I was eager for them to get their own story. Ms. Foster did not disappoint.
My Thoughts.
Like all of Melissa’s books Bayside Passions focused on romance, friendship and family. The story highlighted the challenges one faces being part of a dysfunctional family and having to contend with a controlling patriarch. Besides the romance, which I thought was well developed; there was humour and many smoldering moments. The humour, which was spot on, had me smiling at every page turn.
One thing with Melissa’s romance is they are free of drama and there is little or no conflict. Bayside Passions was no different. It was a sweet friends to lover’s romance, which was free of drama and conflict.
It is always a pleasure interacting with the characters in Melissa’s stories. Dean and Emery share a special bond of friendship, which slowly developed into a romance filled with heat and topped off with a hint of sweetness. They are the opposite of each other. Dean is methodical and a thinker. Emery on the other hand is adventurous and impulsive. In spite of their differences, they worked well together making them a perfect couple. Their romance was not without its challenges. Challenges, which were self-imposed and required soma amount of convincing to prove that their love was worth risking their friendship.
Conclusion/Recommendation
Overall, this was fun and sexy friends to lovers romance, and one I would recommend to fans of the trope.
