Santa to the Rescue is a sweet holiday novella. I'm hesitant to call it a romance, because it's really just about the hero and heroine meeting and having an obvious connection. Jamey has just moved into town and is nearing the end of his probationary period with the fire department. He meets pediatric nurse, Heather, at the grocery store and is immediately smitten. They make plans for a date, but his work schedule suddenly changes. He does his best to let Heather know he's definitely interested in her, but she's hesitant to believe him since she's been burned before. Luckily, Jamey is on Santa duty and is able to concoct a really cute surprise for Heather and the kids at the hospital.
There's no shortage of holiday cheer in Santa to the Rescue, so I'm sure if you're looking for something sweet for the holidays, this one would be perfect. The story is more about two people finding a connection and not being alone for the holidays, rather than a straight up romance. I would have liked more kissing, but it was still a feel good story.
