I love a good small town romance lately and this one is really good. I liked it a lot. It's more of a 'small island' romance but it has all the hallmarks I've come to expect. This is the first in the Anchor Island series and it's so good.

It's very predictable, right from the first chapter it's clear what's in store but with these kind of romances that doesn't phase me, it's the journey rather than the destination that's important.

I loved the two main characters and their chemistry was believable, I felt a little bit uncomfortable at first with the 'choosing between two brother's' thing but actually it's not as skeevy as it sounds. The secondary characters are really endearing too, all the islanders. Sid, I love. I can't wait to read more about her in the next book. I hope Lola is mentioned somewhere too because she such a big character and I didn't get to find out enough about her.

All of it is just a really nice romance. Nice characters, nice setting and a great start to to a new series. I'll definitely be reading more of this one.

I really enjoyed this new series. Beth is a people pleaser kinda gal. She thinks she's found her happily ever after. Little does she know when she really meets someone who sees and cares for who she truly is and likes to be, that's when a tough decision must be made. To make matters worse her "true prince" happens to be her future brother in law Joe! This is not a story about a love triangle, and yes there's some sailor language but it's all part of who the characters are.
As I started reading I could pretty much figure out how the story would play, it's starts out fun and slows down a bit but afterwards you don't want to stop til the very end. I like best the anticipation I have for reading the next one! The author gives a clear picture of all the characters in this story that I feel I know them well.
I love the sense of humor and Beth's panic attacks seem so realistic and funny at times.
This is more a story about being true to yourself and finding who you really are, what makes you happy and waiting for the person that is Meant to Be.
I received a copy of this book for my honest opinion. I look forward to enjoying future books by Terri Osburn! I give this story 4 stars.
