Old Man Hennessey has been found guilty of murder and is in the Felicidad jail awaiting the hangman. When he is broken out by Frank and Jack O'Connor, who want his help in carrying out a robbery, he is determined to seek revenge on the town. So he kidnaps Thora Dowling, the marshal's fiancee, and Lizzie, a prostitute, the two girls he blames for his downfall. Marshal Kirkpatrick and Elias Pitt set out in pursuit.
