Texas Ranger Mike Hart rode grimly on the trail of the notorious outlaw Gimp Alder, with orders to take him dead or alive. Alder was heading back to Mexico and Hart was determined to stop him. The trail was long and arduous for Hart - until he reached Blackthorn County. There he caught up with Alder and took him alive, thinking his troubles were over.
