Strong 3.5. Definitely not for everyone - essentially a D&D one-shot with extended introduction. Writing that's merely serviceable and slightly-too-archetypal characters bring down a world with potential and a fun, fast plot. I liked the "all-caster" approach to the party, though: you've got a tank, melee DPS/healing, ranged DPS/control, and warlock nova (maybe also buffs? remains to be seen how new abilities will be used). Read without too many expectations, and you'll have a good time.
