After their uncle is murdered, Grant and Lonnie Cunningham travel to the small town of Salt Creek, Arizona, to take over his farm. Although most of the townspeople are friendly, Lonnie and Grant quickly fall foul of Vincent McGrath, the spoilt and wild son of a local rancher, whose father wants the farm and its water. What with the McGraths on one hand and some violent rustlers on the other, Grant and Lonnie are soon in danger from all sides. It begins to look as if they'll not only lose the farm but also might suffer the same fate as their uncle. However, it wasn't all over yet...
