However, he starts learn about God through his new step-family. But when UFOs and 'alien eggs' start cropping up, he struggles to remember who God is amongst the arguing and peer pressure he experiences. Space Invaders uses the story of David to help children think about what they do wrong and how Jesus is ready to forgive them, as God forgave David when he did things wrong. It is partcularly suitable for children outside a church community, but will also challenge those who have grown up in church to think about what their response to God is. Hall of Mirrors

Hall of Mirrors focuses on Rebecca. She and her family attend a church called The Meeting. It is a strict relgious sect which follows the teaching of the Leader. Rebecca grows up with a set of rules and regulations she has to folllow - no TV, mobile or internet. She has to wear a headscarf and simple clothes. She and her mum and dad live in the gatehouse of a manor - once the home of the Earl of Mallenford, but now unused. Her mum keeps the house in shape for the owner (who lives miles away) and her dad is the groundskeeper. At school she meets Dylan and Luke and they persuade her to help them look at the manor house - Dylan has found a picture on the internet of the manor, with a ghostly face in one of the windows. In the manor, the come across the hall of mirrors - a vast room lined with ornate mirrors - and, looking at her reflection, Rebecca wonders what people make of her.
