A Mallenford Mystery. Paul's family life is invaded when his dad marries someone with children of her own. He struggles to get on with them, and to get on at school today. However, he starts learn about God through his new step-family. But when UFOs and 'alien eggs' start cropping up, he struggles to remember who God is amongst the arguing and peer pressure he experiences. Space Invaders uses the story of David to help children think about what they do wrong and how Jesus is ready to forgive them, as God forgave David when he did things wrong. It is partcularly suitable for children outside a church community, but will also challenge those who have grown up in church to think about what their response to God is. Kathy Lee's Mallenford Mysteries series focuses on the residents of Mallenford. The four books in the series can be read in any order and each one features different main characters.
