Mainly because of how almost everything is in one little book.
Each day is broken up into six different parts (Begin, Pray, Listen, Why It Matters, Act, & Pray). This is split up over two pages, and covers several different bible verses, why it should be important to us, and ends with another short prayer to help us keep present with Emmanuel.
My favorite thing about this book is how short of a devotional it is. It will most likely take you 5 minutes at max to read the daily devotional and spend time really absorbing what was talked about that day. As someone who is a college student and is going into finals week having something that is short to read that gets me away from my studies for a few minutes is very appreciated. It also brings me back to the present and helps remind me to slow down and really enjoy the holiday season.
