Review:

I enjoyed every page of this book. I am a sucker for a foodie/chick-lit combination story and this delivered for me in a big way for such a short book. It’s Monday , Penelope just loses her job and boyfriend/boss and the adventure of Penelope reinventing her life and career starts right at the beginning of the work week! This brings us to Jonathan , a restaurant owner that needs help with his failing restaurant. In walks Penelope to help him rebuild his reputation in the food world. The heat between these two does burn up the pages and Jonathan is damn hot! There is a nice story here of mistaken (on purpose) identity and finding out who you really are through tough times. This book is a fun lighthearted read set in NYC, which I loved. It was not a long book at all but it does pack quite a punch for such a short book. I had become attached to Penelope and Jonathan and I did hate to see this one end.

Final Thoughts:

If you are looking for a lighthearted smexy fun book then this is it. I truly enjoyed this story and the characters and hated for it to end. The good news is it’s a series!
