Miles wants to be alone and is thick-headed. I wanted to smack him upside the head for most of the book but he does come through in some pretty big ways. Eve is a strong and determined woman who will not let anyone hold her back, goes after what she wants and believes in happily ever after.
There were so many layers to this book. The suspense, steam, heartbreak and joy take you on the perfect rollercoaster ride of emotions. The surprises have me anxiously waiting for the next installment of the Carmel Cove series to see all of the characters again.
