I almost don't even know what to say about this novel. It has been on my to read list for awhile because I knew how much I would love it and want more. It kept my attention every second as I read it in less than a day. I might have even shed as many tears as the main character, Maddy. Okay, maybe not that many, but a lot. As a writing team, Hayward and Holder are brilliant. The story is poignant fictionalized story of things that are sadly really happening today. I hope a sequel is still in the works as I would love to hear more from Maddy, Amiee, and maybe even Dalton's point of view.
