It looks like someone in Half Moon Hollow is trying to frame a series of murders on Jane Jameson, an out-of-work, small-town librarian-turned-vampire. And her relationship with her sexy, mercurial vampire sire keeps running hot and cold. What's a nice undead girl to do?
I don't remember how I stumbled on to this series, but I'm sure glad I did. I love Jane. Her death is a little more than humiliating, but she deals with it in her own snarky Jane way. The comic timing in this story is flawless, but there is still romance, suspense, and action to give it the whole readers delight package. Five stars and on to the next in the series I go.
