Easy Charm" is book two in Kristen Proby’s Boudreaux Series, and it’s Gabby Boudreaux's turn at love.  Gabby is the youngest of the Boudreaux clan and isn't looking for a relationship.  Gabby is happy and content running the Inn Beaudreaux which has been in her family for generations.  She works hard as the proprietor of the Inn and she focuses all her time and attention on the Inn and her seven year old son Sam.  She is a single mom who has been raising Sam all by herself after his birth father walked away and shattered her heart.  Gabby is my kind of girl.  She doesn't wallow in what life has dealt her but picks herself up by her bootstraps and makes the best of it. She is everything you want in a heroine.

We met Rhys O’Shaughnessy in Easy Love, book one of this series. He’s Kate’s cousin and most importantly an incredibly talented Chicago Cubs pitcher but with a heart of gold.  Rhys is injured earlier in the year and he comes to New Orleans and the Inn to recuperate.  Kate thinks the solitude the Inn offers will help him recover quickly.  All it takes for Rhys is seeing Gabby and he is struck.  He knows he wants to get to know her and soon.

Rhys is in no hurry and he senses Gabby's distance is for a good reason.  He is beyond a gentlemen and generally just enjoys spending time with her and Sam.  The easiness that Rhys has with Sam opens Gabby's heart to Rhys.  Their relationship is a slow sizzle that turns into a long burning heat.  There isn't a ton of drama and this book and you just get to enjoy the love story.  This book was a one sitting read for me that left a smile on my face.  Can't wait for the next Boudreaux sibling's love story to unfold.
