Sara Ney knows her romance. I didn't like Kip much to start with - he was a jerk - well intentioned jerk or not. Teddy was a doormat - meek and timid and unwilling to stand up for herself. But both characters grew on me pretty fast. I loved the banter between them and was chuckling at their arguments. The fluff was sickly sweet - full of feel goods and swoons. That said, there's not a lot of plot and there are very few secondary characters - although I did love Ronnie - Kip's sister who texted all the best lines. It's very much romance focused - which to be fair, is not a bad thing, just not usually the kind of thing I rate very highly. I generally like a well developed group of characters than just one couple. It was the same problem I had with Hard Pass from Ney's Trophy Boyfriend series. Still it was a very enjoyable read. 3 stars.
