Honestly, I dropped this book for no fault of it own. It's not the best book I have ever read, but it wasn't awful or anything like that. The romance is pretty decent, the writing okay, and the story theoretically interesting.

It just didn't manage to quite interest me. I read the first 50% fairly quickly, but from then on my involvement just dropped dramatically. It took me three days to read another 10% of the story, and by then I looked down in my kindle and saw I had another 2 hours to read and really couldn't bring myself to invest that much.

I think it might have something to do with her kids deaths. It felt pretty cheap like they were killed just for Alex and hers love story, and I kind of got turned off by that.

Anyways, it's not a strong type of DNF. No "I couldn't even" or "rage!" or anything of that sort. I just wasn't very invested, and it's hard enough for me to read right now due to medical issues that I simply couldn't bring myself to use the little I manage to read on this one *shrug*
