I think Neal Shusterman has quite the talent. In this entire series when I thought I had everything figured out, and when I had just decided which characters I liked or not, he threw another point in and messed everything up!! This book did not end at all like I expected but I really like that about it! it had an element of surprise that most books don't do well (i.e. Divergent series). All the Characters were really cool and it was awesome (and erie) to learn about all the disasters that also crossed into Everlost. The Everlost series was definitely one of my favorite series

Characters

Michael Edward McGill "The McGill" or "Mikey"
If there is one character I can totally relate to, it Mikey. From the moment he shows up as Mikey, I knew that I was going to love him. He is my favorite character. He was all oh you made me made, i'm going to hang you upside down now. And he totally didn't care what people thought of him (well except for Allie). His dedication to Allie was so adorable. Even changing back into a human for her was the cutest thing ever. He's always struggling with jealousy and being left behind and his humanity. When He cried, I bawled, when he laughed, I was overjoyed, when he was betrayed, I was already planing revenge, when he misunderstood, I wanted to shed some light. When he left, that was the saddest moment eve, especially how he was all "I'll wait for you", I felt for him . Mikey is the coolest with the ability to turn into ugly creatures and scare the crap out of people. Mikey is my Spirit Animal.

Character rating:

Alexandra "Allie" the Outcast Johnson
At first when she was arguing all the time with Mary i was like "can you stop complaining all the time? Its no big deal man! But then, she was all toward end It made more sense It is pretty understandable to get mad at someone who traps children for eternity . She was one of those characters that just had to grow on you . To be honest, I think I only really liked her because of my own love for Mikey. If Mikey wasn't there, I don't think I would cared much about what happened to her. Although, I did like the skin jacker theory I mean YOU'RE IN A COMA?! Brilliant!! That was the most creative thing i have ever heard, I would have light to hear the other theory's of other things like how Rippers can rip and stuff . She was a neat character and was definitely an unforgettable one.

Character rating:

Megan Mary McGill "Mary Hightower" "Mary Queen of Snots" "Sky Witch"
She was a bitch. A huge bitch. She had dumb ideas, did dumb things And she deserved more than to be just taken to the middle of the earth , and I didn't like her. But I did enjoy reading about her so.... she was an interesting character but still a bitch.

Character rating:

Nicholas "nick" "Chocolate monster"
Nick was a dumbass more majority of the first book, desperate fool in the second, and plain dumb in the last. He was only ok in the last few pages of the last book. He had good morals but bad decision making skills.

Character rating:

Milos
Don't even start with me

Character rating:

Johnnie-O

Johnnie-O was just Johnnie O, he did what he wanted and was basically the comedic relief.

Character rating: (i do what I want)

Overall it was a really good series that I would recommend you should read. Though I wish there was more info on the other skills as well and other skills as well.
