Dirty Filthy Rich Men by Laurelin Paige

Dirty Filthy Rich Men (Dirty Duet, #1)

by Laurelin Paige

One unexpected and wild weekend with Weston King, and I'm a new woman. He, on the other hand, is the same rich, notorious playboy he's always been. In other words, not the commitment type.

So even though we had fun those two days and nights, I moved on quickly from our horizontal time together.

Or I thought I did until he offered me a job a month later at his firm in NYC.

Can you blame a girl for thinking we might have a chance together?

What I didn't anticipate was Donovan Kincaid, Weston's best friend and business partner. He's dangerous and dominant and gets under my skin in ways that no other man has.

The worst part? I like it.

From NYT Bestselling author Laurelin Paige, discover a whole new world filled with sex, love, power, romance and dirty, filthy rich men.

This cover is totally lickable! It's a good representation of the story. Has good compostion and nice typography.

UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT

I think I am going to be that person that stands over in the corner that no one wants to talk to over this one. It was just OK for me. Honestly, these supposed "adults" acted more like children with the constant back and forth. Mean jabs and attempts at making each other jealous.

Donovan was an asshole through the whole book. I don't mind a good asshole hero, but you need to give me at least some glimpses of a human with feelings so I can connect with him. I never got that in this book. He was just a constant ass which just ended up making Sabrina look like a doormat for putting up with it. The whole book went something liked this...Donovan being an asshole...Sabrina being a doormat...SEX...Donovan being an asshole...Sabrina being a doormat...SEX...rinse and repeat.

Those issues aside I will say the writing was fantastic. It was nicely paced, and the sex scenes were smokin'. So as of right now, I am on the fence on whether I want to bother with the second book or not. The last chapter made me kind of curious to see where this goes but I am not sure I am up to a whole other book of Sabrina chasing Donovan and him pushing her away. We will see how I feel when it comes out.
