I’ve been both looking forward to and dreading the newest issue of Green Lanterns. On the one hand I really couldn’t wait to see what happened next, on the other hand I had a very bad feeling about what exactly was going to happen…
So, we all knew that the big revelation for what has been happening in the Green Lantern series was coming. But that didn’t make it any less painful to see. Simon got played, and hard. Really, all the lanterns are getting played; they just don’t know it yet. Simon is the only one that knows the truth…and he did not take that news well.
I am legitimately curious on what is going to happen next. The rings all seem to be corrupted, which raises some questions on how they’re going to fight this new threat. Additionally Simon is sort of stranded on Earth. Yes, he has his ring, but his trust in it seems to be completely depleted. Not that I blame the guy. It’s going to be a long two weeks while I wait for the next issue, isn’t it?
