**I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.**

The Girl Who Saved Ghosts picks up right where The Girl Who Ignored Ghosts leaves off - well, perhaps a couple of months later, but it isn't too far in the future. This is a good thing because it means there isn't a lot of time for changes in the character's lives, nor does it require endless reading of "catch up" with what's been happening in the characters' lives. We simply pick up at the beginning of Kat's senior year of McTernan Academy.

Poor Kat, hoping to regain some sense of normalcy for her senior year - but of course, she's not going to get it. And this adventure is just as, if not more harrowing, than the last one she went on! The story is progressing nicely, and I can see where the story line is headed now. This book clears up a few questions from the previous book, while still leaving more questions for the next book, which is the way it should be.

We're introduced to some new characters who should be making appearances in later books and one of them makes me chuckle because she's such a sourpuss! I won't tell you who it is, you'll have to read for yourself to find out. But I do hope there is some explanation eventually that tells the real reason she's such a sourpuss... because I'd love to know the whole story!

There is one burning question I have, but I can't ask it without giving away part of the book. I can only hope that it is either answered somehow in one of the following installments or perhaps I'll ask the author herself about it. Either way, this book was a solid 5 star read, just like it's predecessor. I can't wait to see what the third book will bring!

The Girl Who Saved Ghosts comes out on 10/17/2017... make sure to grab your copy so you can see what I'm talking about!
