"Take Me" by Taylor Brooks is hotter than So Cal in August. I've only started to delve into the M/M genre, and Ms Brooks has allowed me to dip my toes into the pool very nicely. It's not a long story. I read it in about an hour, but it was really, really, did I mention REALLY hot.
Clint sells luxury cars...very expensive luxury cars. It seems like he has it all, but he's on the verge of losing it. It's a very difficult time for him, and he's all alone. Rick is a personal trainer who just moved to LA from small town Kansas. One very warm evening brings them together in a crazy way, and the whole thing just takes off from there.
These men had crazy chemistry. I could really feel it as I read. Like I mentioned, it's not a long book, so the story moves along very quickly. The sex is nuclear, and I found myself wishing I could be a fly on the wall in their bedroom. It's just that good.
This is the first book in a series called "Sultry SoCal". I'm going to do my best to read the whole series because I really enjoyed "Take Me".
