Austin, Texas entrepreneur Bryn Kelly must approach New York City's most powerful real estate tycoon Aaric Christos to save her startup, but soon realizes that, despite their tangled past, she may have risked too much in asking for Aaric's help.
I love Katy Evans, but this book was not one of my favorites. The relationship between the characters felt disjointed and rushed. And as a second chance romance, I really needed to feel like these characters resolved the past and were able to solidly move forward. I didn't get any of that.
