All I can say after finishing this book is "Holy hell! What did I just read?"
RUTHLESS KING is one of those books that came out of nowhere and I LOVED IT. It's incredibly sexy and hot while at the same time full of suspense that kept me turning the page wondering what was going to happen next.
Kiera, CEO of a New Orleans whiskey distillery, suddenly finds herself in the debt of the last name in New Orleans you want to be indebted to...Lachlan Mount. But Kiera isn't going to go to Mount easily, especially when he threatens not only her business but her employees, family, and friends.
Mount meets his match with Kiera. He may be used to people bowing down to him, but Keira challenges him...even when he terrifies her. And as with any alpha male when he meets his mate, he's equally in awe and pissed with her. They were hot together and you can see just how affected they both are to their chemistry together. But there was also an air of concern for Keira because you couldn't figure out exactly what it was that Mount wanted with her. All of this led to a book that I absolutely could not put down and counting the days to when the next book will be released.
One of my top reads of 2017, this is a book you must add to your TBR.
