I'm pretty sure My Reckless Valentine was written just for me. I mean, the main character's name is Angie and she loves Romance novels, particularly Erotic Romance. She's a librarian, which would probably be the perfect job for me. And she likes nerdy guys! Grant creates spreadsheets for everything! Anyway. Angie and Grant have a hilarious chance meeting which ends with mind blowing sex. But the next day they find out that he is her new boss, so no more hanky panky. Especially since Angie's job is already on the line for her questionable book displays and library activities.

Thankfully, My Reckless Valentine was longer than the first book, so our couple takes more than 8 hours to fall in love. It's still super fast, but more believable here. Angie and Grant actually also talk as well, not just have mind blowing sex. He takes the time to really think about what she says and how she behaves to get to know her better. Angie, on the other hand, is more active in her approach toward Grant. She goes for what she wants! But when she does hold back for the sake of their jobs, it's Grant who finds his inner Alpha Male to take things to the next level.

Of course I adored My Reckless Valentine, and not just because the main character shares my name and hobby. It was funny, sweet, and sexy, which is always a winning combination. I loved seeing Grant unwind and become a bit reckless himself as Angie rubbed off on him (in more ways than one!). Plus, library sex is always great. Not that I'd know from personal experience, like my namesake. But I'm sure all of us Romance-inclined bookworms have thought about it...
