1. I hate the idea of giving any of Kelley's books less than 5 stars but I didn't enjoy this on as much as the others. It was still written beautifully but I'm not a big fan of reading about mental illness though she wrote it very well.
2. My only complaint is that Max's parts were extremely confusing because of his mental illness. He jumped all over the place and it made it hard for me to focus on the story.
3. I love the idea and execution of this plot. I did end up predicting the ending but it was still written in a way that I was entertained the whole way through.
4. I thought Riley was the best character. She suffered from PTSD and I thought it was very clear about how she was feeling and pushing through that obstacle.
5. Even though it didn't get 5 stars it's still a Kelley Armstrong book and I recommend that everyone reads it.
