"If you're going to taste my sugar, you might as well enjoy my sweet spot."
In for a Penny from Melissa Foster is a quick contemporary romance in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor series about family and growth.
Scott and Penny have been hot and heavy since finally connecting with each other. Penny is in love with Scott and wants to spend the rest of her life with him but Scott is battling with the demons from his past and she is worried that her love may not be enough to keep him around.
I always love spending time with The Whiskeys and Bones and Sarah's wedding was a great way to return to Peaceful Harbor. Scott and Penny were definitely hot and steamy together. I really felt for Scott and all the demons he is fighting because of his past but was so happy that he found Penny who was the one able to bring the sweetness he needed to bury the worries of his past. It was great to see the rest of the Whiskey clan and Kennedy is still so adorable. I can not wait for more from Melissa Foster and The Whiskeys in the future.
