If you had the technology to do something different would you do it?
The Sandbox by J.W. Patrick was an interesting read. It takes place within ten days from the day of this strange impact to the end of the book. We went through a lot of stages within this book with these three main characters.
What I like:
- The author introduces a real-life problem in the story. The fracking and what it’s doing as that is happening.
- I like the friendship between two of the male characters and how they allowed the only female to be in their click.
What I don’t like:
I don’t really have a lot of dislikes about it. The whole story was just different than I thought it would be. The one thing that was annoying while reading was the fact that Sonny would go from talking like an Okie to talking like an average person.
Three Stars
The Sandbox by J.W. Patrick is a different type of book that has potential. The characters where all great and I am giving this book a three-star rating.
