This was actually not quite what I was expecting. And that isn't a bad thing at all! It's a mix of Cinderella and Snow White, with a twisted Cinderella, and a funny and crazy Godmother.
Nothing is quite what you remember from the fairy tale, or quite like any other retelling of Cinderella that I've read so far. I loved how nothing was quite what it seemed, and there were a lot of twists for such a short book.
The story and characters are a bit dark and twisted, which just sucked me in further. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. If you like retellings, especially ones with unique twists, you need to read this book!
