I’m really impressed with how this sequel turned out. Everything you like about the first book is here in this book. The plot is nicely paced and always has these crazy twists. There’s enough action without everything being too intense. It makes you want to think what’s going to happen next or who’s the creepy guy in the woods. You can’t help but love all the characters because there’s so much thought put into them all.

Kylie, the main character, is fantastic. She’s kind and smart and at times pretty funny. I’m glad she’s the main character because the author makes me want to read all about her. Her personality is great and interesting and I love how nobody knows what she is. It adds a little mystery. She’s a great character to look up to because she’s trying to find out who she is, as are many of us.

I loved all the other characters too. Miranda and Della have completely opposite personalities which makes it very entertaining. And Holiday and Burnett are lots of fun and really funny at times. I love that while Holiday plays kind of an adult role she’s also like the big sister. It’s refreshing to see such great characters. Then there’s the boys. Two to pick from! I’m not gonna lie I’m leaning towards Lucas like crazy. I love Derek but there’s something about Lucas and all his werewolfness that makes me go crazy.
