First off, I'm a huge fan of Max Monroe, they have some of my favorite stories out there and I'm always looking forward to their next read. But this one didn't work out for me and it seriously bummed me out to say that. The blurb really sucked me in and I just couldn't wait to know more about this story, it started off great and you'll quickly have a place in your heart for Ansel. But the story line needed something a bit more and the characters went into my no-go zone for my romance reads.
