Finley is a barista living in Seattle who comes to realize that she has the ability to see beyond the veil, the glamour of the Fae. Carrick is one of the richest men in Seattle and he has a vested interest in Finley and her abilities.
Mystery, magic, fae and demons all play a part in the first installment of The Chronicles of the Stone Veil series. The book starts off a little slow for my liking as we go through the backstory, which is common at the beginning of a series. The ending has me looking forward to the next book in the series.
