WOW! Such an intense book! There was a point where I contemplated DNFing because, for the life of me, I could not see how the book could end as anything but badly. But I persevered and was totally surprised!
I did feel as though the first half of the book was the strongest. The pacing was so fast and tight and then quite suddenly slows dramatically. For me, it was a little jarring.
