This was nice.

The writing is INCREDIBLY COMPETENT. The romance, however, I need to point out as being a little lackluster, but I also blame a little bit on myself, as I sped through this book. It was fun, very easy to read and almost always moving.

It reminds me of the Detective Erika Foster books, because those follow the same "KEEP THE PLOT MOVING" beat, not shying away from dropping a few bodies. I will try the second book, but I might try a different series on the same genre first.

However, Mrs. Cordelia, color me intrigued. This was nice nonetheless.
