I adored this novel! Lynsey was exactly my kind of heroine (and yeah, we had a charcuterie board for lunch today!) because she was so resilient. Josh was the perfect Dr. Dick, and I loved that Lynsey thought there was a true reason he was so closed off.

There's a lot of humor here, even if there are also some darker themes that are tackled. However, the friendship between Lynsey and Kate, plus how Max does his best to be a friend for Josh also made the darker themes easier to deal with.

The writing is good - the present tense made me feel very connected with the story and the characters. The character development was awesome - both for Lynsey and for Josh. It's a big YES from me :)
