Novellas are not my goto, I usually avoid them, but I had been hearing a lot about this series, and it was free, so, why not?

I am glad I took a chance on this book, because it was utterly delightful. I loved getting to know Jay and Elise. Holiday did a great job crafting these characters, because all the details she provided gave me a good look into who they were. And, I loved their courtship! The friendship was so sweet, and the ending was a wonderful precursor to the rest of the series. Oh, and the ending was the cutest ever.

Fun, cute, sweet, sexy - this had all those elements I love in a contemporary romance, and I can't wait to read more of this series.
