Luck of the Dragon was quite fun! It all starts off with a heist. Lucy is a gemologist, but she also comes from a family of thieves. To pay off her brother's debt, she needs to get into the largest private gem exhibit in the world which is owned by Alec, the supposed kind of Las Vegas, and actual king of the dragons. Of course, she doesn't expect to feel a strong sexual connection with the man she intends to rob, and he's very perceptive and foils her first attempt. Alec also realizes that this human woman is his mate! What's a dragon to do?

I really liked Luck of the Dragon. Lucy is feisty and Alec is great. They both care about their families (in his case, his dragon fold) and would do anything to protect them. But in Lucy's case, she's being taken advantage of and it may cost her everything she holds dear. Alec is at risk of losing his dragon form if he can't get Lucy to believe he's a dragon and stay as his mate. His "coming out" scene is quite hilarious! Let's just say, Lucy thought Alec was into some kinky stuff rather than being an actual dragon.

The one thing that annoyed me about Luck of the Dragon was Lucy's constant use of "Holy Mary, Joseph and Peter." She said it after everything! It might have been cute and endearing the first time, but after the twentieth, I kind of wanted to smother her with a pillow. Get a new catch phrase! Other than that, I really liked this Paranormal Romance. I loved the way dragon society was presented, and I can totally believe they'd settled in Vegas!
