Yay! So glad that the next Spider-Gwen issue is out. Though I legit almost missed it - thank goodness for Twitter (did I really just say that? Ha!). I'm glad I didn't miss it, because this one was worth reading.
Gwen is coming up against more trouble in this issue, and it seems to be hitting her from all directions. Personally, I'm psyched that she's trying to learn more about her symbiot suit. I'd love to see McGuire's take on that. Plus it seems like the quest is bigger than expected, which is fantastic (for us readers, not for Gwen).
I love how Seanan McGuire steadily built up to this plot, until it finally combusted. It's made for some great reading! And that there are already hints for the next few plots to boot. It feels so much more organic doing it this way.
Also, side note: Is it bad that I sort of love to hate MJ in this universe? Not that I actively hate her or anything, but she's that type of snarky that'll make you roll your eyes (and not feel bad for doing so). It's the little things that make a series, right?
