This is the first book I have read that was purely sex, drugs and rock and roll.
I really enjoyed this story and was sucked into Jade aka Jack's, very different life. This is a chick who was brought up rough, liked to party and had one friend for most of her life. We get to hear most of her story as she shows us how to live a life with walls up to protect herself.
This book was really gritty, dirty and some things that were just plain wrong. Not once through the whole story was a condom mentioned and there was a LOT of sex. Lots of drug taking and alcohol consumed. Heaps of dirty talk that bordered on insulting. Very explicit and kinky sex with exhibitionism.
Most of the above would put me off a book, but in this one it either made me hot as well or made me laugh.
There is a love story and I did like Hush, but for the first time ever the love story took a back seat to the experiences this girl lived.
I thought this author did an amazing job and I am glad to have experienced it. Will definitely keep an eye out for more of her work.
