Darby's story is finally here! As the youngest Valentine boy, he has always been treated like a problem child by his siblings. He takes it because he was a problem child. Darby is all grown up now and hasn't been in trouble in many years and Get Bucked gives readers Darby's story!

I wasn't sure how I would feel about Darby as a hero. However, he is wonderful! He has completely changed his life around and does all kinds of things for his family and never complains. It was great to finally see him take a stand! Waylynn is an interesting hero. She and Darby both attending the same college and had the same major (architectural engineering) so there was some bad blood between them. Darby was the top of the class and Waylynn can't find a job. I love the hate to love you vibe between these two. It was very well written as a bit of competition and a bit of  "I've been warned off you".

As in the previous books, there is a great group of supporting characters. I really loved GQ and hope we get more of him! While Darby's siblings are kind of jerks at the beginning of the story, I love the family dynamic and the deep bonds between the brothers. Get Bucked delivers a steamy romance and a family bonds story all in one!

Fans of Lani Lynn Vale will, of course, gobble up Get Bucked. If you are a fan of the hate to love you trope, I really think you should check Get Bucked out because its really well done!
