Sam has really grown since the first book and her arrival in Hope Green. She has developed in her career and she has really settled into village life. One of the things I love about this book is the role that the animals play. This story shows what a big part they play in our lives.
This was my favourite book of the series. I won't give away any of the story but Sheila does an excellent job of wrapping up all the threads, giving us that much sought after happy ending.
This is a light-hearted read that can easily be read in one afternoon, leaving you with a big smile and a warm feeling inside. I am looking forward to reading Sheila's next series Pets At Primrose Cottage.
