From debut author and poet Lexa Hillyer comes the lyrical story of four seventeen-year-old friends who receive an unlikely chance to relive the perfect summer . . . and the devastating secret that could unravel it all.
An interesting way to have these four renew their friendship, while also taking an honest look at their own lives. Going back to that final camp summer and seeing it with some hindsight help them grow and move forward in a positive direction. I have to admit, that last part sort of wrecked me, and I was a sobbing mess, but I still really enjoyed seeing these young women reaffirm their promise of friendship to one another.
