I found myself getting sucked into the book and before I knew it I had finished it as it was such a well written fast pacing book.
I found Carrie was a strong character, although very stubborn but by getting to know her I got to understand her more, shutting everything and everyone out and being someone else she found it a coping mechanism and it worked right up until she went to Devon sees her family for the first time in two years, her mother is terminally ill she needs to be there but only for a day or two at most she thinks.
Carrie stays a little longer and meets Daniel, they hit it off but one kiss and Carrie is running back to London.
All of the characters eased into the book really well, they were very well described so I could picture them in my head easily. I felt like the Ms Thake knew these people personally.
I really enjoyed reading Revive, it was an emotional read that had me hooked from page one.
I cannot wait to read more from this author.
