I received this book for free from Silver Dagger Book Tours in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This review was originally posted on The Layaway Dragon

IMHO: SINS OF THE FATHERS
Trigger Warning: creepy dudes, stalking, rape by fraud.

In my review of book #1, The Gap Year, I gave it 4 stars and said it got better as it went along. I can say both hold true for #2, Sins of the Fathers.

The covers have been re-done, and are way better!
It was a smooth lift off into action right away
Transitions are better and I didn’t get turned around like in the very beginning.
Super quick read, action packed read.
Would totally love more description and detail to help the world flourish. I can still easily see it all in my head but I want more to move them from novellas to novels.
There’s some sexiness in the beginning before Angela jets off for Uranus, but they don’t get alone time after that with the investigations.
I am curious about the real story behind the alien tarantulas and the government on Uranus.
four-stars
It’s like a lesbian Han Solo series. Totally worth continuing and keeps you wanting more & more!
