A very strong sequel to Descending into Madness. Loved it :)

At times I was holding my breath, the situation so intense. The story mixed humor, banter between Alice, Scrooge and Hare and suspense in a good way. I really liked it. The humor and sweet parts gave a bit of air between all the action and scenes with Jessica. What a b*tch :+
I really loved most of the other characters, all very different personalities and valuable additions to the story.

There were moments the sexual tension between Alice and Scrooge did give me an eyeroll, because I just couldn't imagine her reacting that way in that situation. But it wasn't so annoying that it made the book less fun to read. And some couples do seem to thrive in life and death situations ;)
