This is the 5th book for Jade Crow.She has lost people in the past that were never really mentioned in books.This time there are 2 characters that have been with her since the 1st book.And in this loss I felt for Jade,even though she is a fictionalized character(sorcerer).
She starts out being blamed for murder,then an acquaintance gets murdered,her store burns down.Not counting the loss of her 2 close friends.
It's just a bad time all the way around for her.
I'm looking forward to the next book.
