Curious Baby Everyday Shapes

by Margret Rey and H A Rey

In this title, each sturdy, shaped puzzle piece can be lifted off to reveal a scene of George interacting with the shape in the world around him - and some additional shapes on the back of the puzzle piece! With sweet illustrations, bouncy rhyming verse, and oversized puzzle pieces to touch and explore with, this book is the perfect way to introduce the baby in your life to the world of shapes!

I love this book! It's like a lift-the-flap board book and puzzle all in one! This is great for us right now (as either girl can hold it in play) and especially as AppleBlossom is learning her shapes. Short poems and Curious George illustrations based on the original from [a:H.A. Rey|967839|H.A. Rey|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1222103242p2/967839.jpg] is great and puts a smile on my toddler's face. The pages are thick and durable and I am quite sure it will last. Each shape puzzle pops out like a lift-the-flap would lift. The front has the word of the shape and the back has another shape or two when put together could make the shape of the one on the front. Behind each puzzle pop-out is George being cute and having fun with the shape.
