OK, so the Caged Series is one of my absolute favorite series EVER! To be honest, when I really got into Paranormal, this was one of the series that I started with and I've been hooked every since. And I'll warn whoever is reading this review and wondering about this series, if you haven't read the books previous to Strayed, then I suggest you leave this review and buy the first one in the series! You have a lot of catching up to do.

I received an ARC and it was such an honor, and it seriously felt like Christmas because I have been (along with many others) eagerly awaiting this book! Anyways, lets get to my review.

I did have a forewarning from Amber about what to expect from this book and it sure did take me on a crazy ride ... full of emotions! And not just that, but prepare for the unexpected, I was nearly dumbfounded with what we learn from this book, you'll be shocked too or maybe something close to it.

I re-read the entire series before I got to Strayed because I wanted to have everything fresh in mind, especially with all the character developments and the ever-loving relationship between Sean and Ruby. And Amber does a phenomenal job really laying out all the characters for you and I secretly want to be part of their world, I would love a little family like that! And as embarrassing as it sounds, this book made me tear more than I expected ... you will all know exactly what I'm talking about when it happens. I came to fall in love even more with all of the characters, especially Cooper, he becomes quite the voice of reason in this book, believe it or not. We are introduced to a new character and I've become VERY curious about that one, simply, I just have to know more!

What should you expect? Well as in true Ruby fashion, she'll have quite the load to deal with and it's rather unreal! Like holy shit, how the hell did that all happen?! I did get rather frustrated with her especially when it came to Sean, that girl definitely needed some sense knocked back into her. It's rather disappointing because she clearly didn't remember what a certain someone said to her back in the previous books ... like an angel. But seriously people, the amount of stuff Ruby has to get through, it's pretty damn crazy. Thankfully, A LOT of your questions will be answered, as I was re-reading the series, so many questions popped up. Even my sneaking suspicion with a couple of characters, most of them were all answered.

And as much as I don't really want to admit this, but I'm starting to like Scarlet, you will learn quite a bit about her. She's still the biggest spitfire ever, but certain events really brought another side of her out that I didn't expect to see.

In Strayed, we get better sense of the direction that the story will go. A lot of my questions weren't answered until near middle-end. With most series, you just wonder what the end result will be and who the big battle will be between. Of course, I'm assuming that, gotta go out with a bang, right? Well who knows, I can be totally wrong!

As you can tell from my review, it's a complete ramble. It was so hard to write this review without revealing one bit of information. With this being the 6th book in the series, there's just so much that happens throughout the series and even more so in this one. Amber has created a phenomenal series that has kept me hooked from book 1. As impatient as I can be, I will always wait to get the next book in an awesome series. Her writing will completely draw you in and wanting more by the end of each book. We're only a few books near the end of this series and I know there will be so much more to come. If you're a paranormal fan like me, you'll love this book and series as a whole. If you haven't read any from this series, go and get your hands on them now! You'll go through all the feels as your reading and I hope you all fall in love with this like I did.

NOTE : All books in this series should be read in order, they are not standalones!
